Carroll Smith invited Councilors to have !un_ch o_n_ October 6th with visitors from <br />Norman_dY. <br /> <br /> Ms. Peppy Linden, Director of the Virginia Discovery_ Museum, in,d_'ted the public to <br />visk ~he Museum'S _m_~rrent e_x_hibk, "The Dawn of Sounds - History of Film" <br /> <br /> Ms. Janie Norris, 544-B Cleveland A_v. enue Extended, representing "Friends of <br />Basel)ail," a group of citizens dedicated to bfingj~ professional baseball to Charlottesville, <br />asked that a talk _tbrce, to include representatives from Comm__unity Deveiopmem, Economic <br />Development, and fne University of Virginia, be ib__ma__ed to explore possible si_tes and fianding <br />for a baseball stadium. Ms~ Norris said the ~oup has collected over !,000 si_~atures in <br />suppo_~ of pro_t~ssionai baseball. <br /> <br /> Mr. TOscano announced that the City's curbside recycling program will now collect <br />magazines and slick paper ca.taiogs~ <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> M-r.
