36 <br /> <br />XIII.~ WATER FUND APPROPRIATION <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, that there is hereby appropriated from the Water <br />Fund, for the operation of the water utility during the fiscal <br />year beginning July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994, the sum of <br />$3,607,797, or the amount of revenue actually received by such <br />fund, whichever is the greater amount. Such appropriation shall <br />be effective July 1, 1993. <br /> <br />XIV. <br /> <br />WASTEWATER FUND APPROPRIATION <br /> <br /> . BE IT RESOLVED by the.Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, that there~is hereby appropriated from the <br />Wastewater Fund, for the operation of the wastewater utility <br />during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, <br />1994, the sum of $3,110,999, or the amount of revenue actually <br />received by such fund, whichever is the greater amount. Such <br />appropriation shall be effective July 1, 1993. <br /> <br />XV. PAY PLAN APPROVAL <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville that the Employee Classification and Pay Plan for <br />the City of Charlottesville dated July 1, 1993 and effective on <br />that same date, which assigns salary ranges to each class or <br />position in the City service is hereby approved pursuant to <br />Section 19-3 and 19-4 of the City Code, 1990, as amended and a <br />copy of ~the .same shall be kept on file with the~records of the <br />meeting at which this resolution is approved. <br /> <br />XIII. BLIZZARD RELIEF <br /> <br /> On motion by Ms. Daugherty, seconded by Ms. Slaughter, <br />the resolution authorizing the City Manager to apply for <br />federal funds for snow blizzard relief was unanimously <br />approved by Council. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED~ by the CounCil of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that Cole Hendrix, City Manager of <br />the City of Charlottesville~ is hereby authorized to execute <br />for and in behalf of the City of Charlottesville, a public <br />entity established under the laws of the Commonwealth of <br />Virginia, this application and to file it in the appropriate <br />State office for the purpose of obtaining certain Federal <br />financial assistance under the Disaster Relief Act (Public <br />Law 288, 93rd Congress) or otherwise available from the <br />President's Disaster Relief Fund. <br /> <br /> <br />
