Edwards, seconded by Ms. Daugherty, an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING THE DISTRICT MAP INCORPORATED IN SECTION 34-15 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1990, AS AMENDED, BY THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 501 GROVE AVENUE" was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. PUBLIC Ms. Laurie Culver stated that she was interested in establishing a "Faith Farm," an out of the city house for alcoholics and requested council,s help in providing publicity for her efforts. OTHER BUSINESS APPOINTMENTS: BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Ms. Slaughter, Ms. Jeanine W01inski was unanimously appointed as the City's representative on the Fair Housing Board, On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Rev. Edwards, Mr. Stephen F. Camp was unanimously appointed too a four-year term on the Highway Safety Commission. This term will expire on June 30, 1997. Th~, meeting was adjourned. Edwards, Ms. Slaughter, Mr. Toscano, Mr. Vandever. On motion by Ms. Slaughter, seconded by Rev. Edwards, Council unanimously voted to meet in executive session to discuss a personnel matter and one legal matter as provided by Section 2.1-344(a)(1) and (7) of the Virginia Code. Council reconvened in open session and on motion by Rev. Edwards~ seconded by Ms. Daugherty, Council unanimously certified that, to the best of each member,s knowledge (i) only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements by Virginia law were discussed in the executive meeting to which this certification resolution applies, and (ii) only such public business matters as were identified in the motion convening the executive meeting were heard, discussed or considered by the Council.
