Edwards, Ms. Slaughter, Mr. Toscano, Mr. Vandever. <br /> <br />TWO-WAYING OF WATER STREET <br /> <br /> Ms. Judith Mueller, Director of Public Works, reviewed the proposed turning <br />lanes, parking and loading spaces. Ms. Mueller noted that people will be inconvenienced <br />by the two-waying of Water Street because of loading and she felt there will initially need <br />to be more police enforcement of the area. Ms. Mueller stated that bicycle lanes cannot be <br />accommodated on Water Street unless the left turn lanes are eliminated. <br /> <br /> Ms. Slaughter recommended that bicycles be accommodated on South Street up to <br />1 st Street, perhaps by allowing parking on one-side only. <br /> <br />Ms. Mueller stated that staff would look at the issue of bicycles on South Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
