Edwards, the <br />ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REORDAINING <br />SECTION 17-37 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, <br />1990, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO POSSESSION OF OPEN CONTAINERS <br />OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN PUBLIC PLACES" was offered and <br />carried over to the next meeting for consideration. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Responding to a question from Ms. Laura Parmenter, Mr. <br />Huja stated that as the zoning administrator his office will <br />enforce special use permits. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Mr. Toscano stated that the West Main Street Forum which <br />was held in early December is being rebroadcast over Adelphia <br />Cable Channel 10. <br /> <br /> Ms. Slaughter questioned whether it would be possible to <br />have more public meetings such as Planning Commission <br />and School Board meetings taped and broadcast. <br /> <br /> Mr. Toscano replied that he felt the individual groups <br />needed to make the request to be taped and broadcast, but <br />that it would also depend upon the resources of Adelphia <br />Cable unless someone else is able to tape the meetings. <br /> <br /> Mr. Toscano stated that an agreement with a developer <br />for housing on the CSX property is proposed to be signed in <br />the near future and he wanted to assure that Councilors were <br />in agreement with the process for both choosing the developer <br />and for developing the site. Councilors expressed agreement <br />with the process which was previously discussed and agreed <br />tOo <br /> <br /> Rev.
