APPROPRIATION: $61,440 - Family Support Grant (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sum of $61,440.00, is hereby appropriated to the Grants Fund in Account #11-161-062314 <br />to implement the Home Visiting Collaboration project, a prevention program providing <br />teenage and first-time mothers aged 20-24 with assistance in parenting, family development <br />and access to medical care. The project will be administered by the Charlottesville/Albemarle <br />Community Policy and Management Team, and will serve residents of Charlottesville and <br />Albemarle County This appropriation is conditioned upon receipt of $55,296 from the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia, and $3,252 from Albemarle County or the Thomas Jefferson <br />Health Department, and $2,892 to be transferred from the amount budgeted in the City's FY <br />1996-97 appropriation to the Thomas Jefferson Health Department, resulting in a reduced <br />appropriation for the Thomas Jefferson Health Department of $526,085: <br /> <br />d. APPROPRIATION: $145,558 - Comprehensive Services Trust Fund <br /> (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the <br />sum of $145,558.00, to be received as a grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia <br />(Comprehensive Services for Youth and Families), is hereby appropriated to expenditure <br />account 11-161-062312 (Community Services) in the amount of $80,487, and to expenditure <br />account 11-161-062311 (Early Intervention) in the amount of $65,071, to be expended for <br />continuing the Community Services Grant and the Early Intervention Grant, respectively, for <br />children and their families. This appropriation is conditioned upon receipt of $145,558 from <br />the Commonwealth of Virginia. <br /> e. APPROPRIATION: $1,473 - Seat Belt Grant (carried over) <br /> <br />f. APPROPRIATION: $24,801 - Domestic Violence Grant (carried over) <br /> <br />g. APPROPRIATION: $4,600 - Church Arson Prevention Grant (carried over) <br /> <br />h.
