Mr. Ackerman <br />requested that Council provide a tax rebate to MACAA's Hope <br />House in the amount of $3,400 which represents two year's <br />real estate tax. Mr. Ackerman stated that the City Schools <br />have been approached with regard to funding for the <br />educational enhancement programs. - ~ <br /> <br /> Ms. Waters requested ~hat a fuller descriPtiOn be <br />provided to ~CoUncil regarding the Housing Counseling <br />position. Absent: Rev. Edwards. <br /> <br />REQUEST: APPROVING ADVANCE OF JTPA FUNDS FOR TEENSIGHT PROGRAM <br /> <br /> It was the consensus of Council to defer the request to <br />approve an advance of funds for the Teensight Program to the <br />regular April 3rd meeting. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: <br /> <br />(2nd reading) <br /> <br />$51,800 - EXPANSION OF JOINT SECURITY COMPLEX <br /> <br /> The Appropriation of $51,800 for the expansion of the <br />Joint ~Security Complex which had been offered at the March <br />20th meeting was approved by the following vote.
