The $14,090 appropriation for the 911 Joint Dispatch Center staffing which was offered at the January 2nd meeting was approved by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Buck, Rev. Edwards, Mr. Towe, Mr. Vandever, Ms. Waters. Noes: None. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of %he City of Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $14,090 is hereby appropriated to account 05-301-045020 from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund as.~the ~C~ty~s~share~during~fiscal year 1989-90 of the salaries and relatedlcosts of hiring three (3) additional dispatchers at the Joint Dispatch Center. This appropriation is contingent upon the University of Virginia and the County of Albemarle appropriating.their respective shares of the costs of such additional positions. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $21,250 is hereby appropriated to expenditure account 11-270-041132 in ~the Grants Fund for the purpose of purchasing thirty four (34) mobile radios~for use by the Charlottesville Police Department.. Of this amount, $1,895 is to be taken from General Fund account 05-270-041030-55102. This appropriation is subject to the receipt of $19,355 in revenue from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice.
