President NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON Thursday, June 20, 1991 at 12:00 noon IN THE Burnley Moran Elementary School. THE PROPOSED AGENDA IS AS FOLLOWS: Luncheon meeting with School Board BY ORDER OF THE MAYOR BY Jeanne Cox (signed) BURNLEY MORAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - June 20, 1991 Council met in special session on this date with the following members present: Rev. Edwards (arrived late), Ms. Slaughter, Mr. Toscano, Ms. Waters. Absent: Mr. Vandever. Ms. Waters thanked Ms. Emily Couric and Mr. Lawrence Burruss, outgoing members of the School Board, for their years of service on the-Board. Mr. Todd Bullard of VMDO Architects, gave a tour of Burnley Moran School and pointed out areas scheduled for repairs and improvements. The meeting was adjourned. COUNCIL CHAMBER - July 1, 1991 Council met in regular session on this date with the following members present: Rev. Edwards, Mr. Toscano, Mr. Vandever, Ms. Waters. Absent: Ms. Slaughter. MINUTES On motion by Ms. Waters, seconded by Mr. Vandever, the minutes of the June 13th meeting were unanimously approved as presented. On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Ms. Waters, the minutes of the June 17th meeting were approved as presented, with Mr. Vandever abstaining. On motion by Ms. Waters, seconded by Mr. Toscano, the minutes of the June 18th meeting were unanimously approved as presented. On motion by Mr. Toscano, seconded by Ms. Waters, the minutes of the June 20th meeting were unanimously approved as presented. PUBLIC There were no matters by the public. RESOLUTION: HONORING OUTGOING SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS On motion by Ms. Waters, seconded by Mr. Toscano, resolutions honoring outgoing School Board members Ms. Emily Couric and Mr. Lawrence Burruss were unanimously approved by Council.
