APPROPRIATION <br />SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION FUND <br />• A. CREATION OF FUND; PURPOSES <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that there is hereby created in the accounts of the City <br />a separate and distinct fund to be known as the School Construction <br />Fund. The purpose of this fund shall be to account for revenues <br />and expenditures related to four previously approved capital improve- <br />ments at Charlottesville High School: an auditorium, an auxiliary <br />gymnasium, outdoor athletic facilities and roof repairs. The <br />following actions are hereby taken with regard to the fund. <br />B. DESIGNATION OF REVENUES <br />The following are designated as revenues to be received by the <br />School Construction Fund: <br />1. $3,000,000.00 received in the Capital Projects Fund <br />for the sale of a like amount of bond anticipation <br />notes issued April 17, 1982. This sum was previously <br />appropriated to expenditure account 05-01130 in the <br />Capital Projects Fund by resolution adopted March 1, <br />1982. The Director of Finance is authorized to <br />• transfer this sum to the School Construction Fund <br />and likewise to transfer any expenditure charges <br />heretofore made against it to the appropriate expen- <br />diture accounts hereinafter set forth. <br />2. $4,593,957 to be received by the City on or about <br />June 12, 1983 from the sale of capital assets to the <br />Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority. <br />3. $2,000,000 to be received by the City as a loan from <br />the Virginia Literary Fund. <br />4. A sum estimated at $450,000, to be earned from invest- <br />ment of the foregoing revenues during construction of <br />the projects to be constructed hereunder. <br />C. APPROPRIATION FOR EXPENDITURES <br />The following sums are hereby appropriated from the designated <br />revenues of the School Construction Fund, to the expenditure accounts <br />hereinafter set forth: <br />1. $1,500,000 to account 23-30010 for the outdoor <br />40 <br />athletic facilities and related parking. <br />
