RESOLUTION • ADOPTION OF BUDGETS AND ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR UTILITY FUNDS I. Utility Budgets WHEREAS, this Council following legally conducted public hearings by resolution adopted April 10, 1984 approved a budget and made annual appropriations for the general operations of the City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1984 and ending June 30, 1985; and WHEREAS, that resolution did not include budgets or appro- priations for the operation of the City utility divisions or funds; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has now presented to the Council revised budget projections for the utility operations, reflecting salary costs adjusted to reflect the comparable adjustments to those approved for General Fund employees; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville • that the budget worksheets for the Gas, Water and Wastewater Funds presented by the City Manager on June 4, 1984 are hereby approved as the budgets for those funds for the 1984-85 fiscal year, and shall be included in the printing of the final adopted budget of the city for that fiscal year. II. Gas Fund Appropriation BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, that there is hereby appropriated from the Gas Fund, for the operation of the gas utility during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1984 and ending June 30, 1985, the sum of $13,200,436, or the amount of revenue actually received by such fund, whichever is the greater amount. Such appropriation shall be effective July 1, 1984. III. Water Fund Appropriation BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that there is hereby appropriated from the Water Fund, for the operation of the water utility during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1984 and ending June 30, 1985, the sum of $2,148,756, or the amount of revenue actually received by such fund, whichever • is the greater amount. Such appropriation shall be effective July 1, 1984.
