The City Manager is authorized to enter into <br />agreements with those agencies and organizations as he may deem advisable to <br />ensure that the subgrants are expended for the intended purposes, and in <br />accordance with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following sums are hereby appropriated <br />from funds received from the aforesaid grant as a subgrant to the <br />Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority: <br />Account Code Purpose Amount <br />24-72400 City -Wide Homeowner Rehabilitations by the $150,000 <br />Charlottesville Housing Improvement Program <br />(CHIP) <br />24-15110 Housing Administration 12,000 <br />• 24-72410 Subgrant to Charlottesville Development 35,000 <br />Corporation for Downpayment/Closing Cost <br />Assistance Program <br />Revenues received by the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority from repayment of deferred loans made under these programs shall <br />be returned by the Authority to the City for credit to the CDBG Fund. Such <br />funds credited to the CDBG Fund shall be deemed automatically reappropriated <br />to the Authority for the same purposes for which they were originally <br />appropriated. The Director of Finance may establish such regulations and <br />procedures as may be expedient to create these "revolving funds". <br />The City Manager, the Directors of Finance and of Planning and Community <br />Development, and the staff of the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority (CRNA) are authorized and directed to establish appropriate <br />expenditure sub -accounts in the Community Development Block Grant Fund to <br />assist the City and CRHA in accounting for such programs, and to establish <br />administrative procedures and provide for mutual assistance in the execution of <br />the programs as approved by the Board of CRHA. <br />Approved by Council <br />July 21, 1986 <br />erk ot Council <br />86-4-13 <br />
