• APPROPRIATION <br />Transportation Service Study <br />$60,000 <br />WHEREAS, the County of Albemarle, the University of Virginia <br />and the City have agreed to jointly fund a study to evaluate the <br />possibility of transportation service coordination to reduce <br />costs and improve the quality of service; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will be the contracting agency; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $60,000 is hereby <br />appropriated to expenditure account 26-191-053103 in the Capital <br />Projects Fund for the purpose of funding a study to evaluate the <br />possibility of transportation service coordination among the <br />Charlottesville Transit Service (CTS), the University Transit <br />Service (UTS) and JAUNT. This appropriation shall include <br />$20,000, which is hereby transferred from Capital Projects Fund <br />account 26-181-051100 as the City's share of the cost of this <br />study, and conditioned upon receipt of $20,000 from the <br />University of Virginia and $20,000 from the County of Albemarle <br />as their contributions to the cost of such study, for a total <br />• appropriation of $60,000. <br />Approved by Council <br />September 6, 1988 <br />96A,46m� C4411 <br />(SAerk of Council <br />is <br />88-4-28 <br />
