• <br />• <br />• <br />APPROPRIATION <br />Transportation Planning Grant <br />$59,413 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that the sum of $59,413 is hereby appropriated to <br />expenditure account 11- 042 - 053050 in the Grants Fund for planning <br />activities, including administration, data base maintenance and a <br />study of transportation needs for the southern City /County area. <br />Such activities shall be conducted by the City under a contract <br />from the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) <br />pursuant to a Section 112 planning and programming grant received <br />by TJPDC from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the <br />Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation (VDH &T). <br />This appropriation shall be subject to the receipt by the City <br />for credit to the Grants Fund of $49,001 in FHWA funds, and $5,206 <br />in VDH &T funds. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the balance of the foregoing <br />grant, the sum of $5,206, is hereby appropriated from the <br />unappropriated balance of the General Fund for transfer to the <br />Grants Fund as the City's matching share of such grant. <br />Approved by Council <br />December 19, 1988 <br />erk of Council <br />88 -4 -41 <br />
