• APPROPRIATION <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNING GRANT <br />$32,507 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $32,507 is <br />hereby appropriated to expenditure account 11-33110 in <br />the Grants Fund for planning activities, including <br />administration, data base maintenance and a study of <br />transportation needs for the southern City/County area. <br />Such activities shall be conducted by the City under a <br />contract from the Thomas Jefferson Planning District <br />Commission (TJPDC) pursuant to a Section 112 planning <br />and programming grant received by TJPDC from the Federal <br />Highway Administration (FHWA), Urban Mass Transportation <br />Agency (UMTA), and the Virginia Department of Highways <br />and Transportation (VDHBT). <br />This appropriation shall be subject to the receipt <br />by the City of $17,149 in FHWA funds, $9,866 in UMTA <br />funds, and $2,746 in VDHBT funds. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $2,746 is <br />hereby appropriated from the unappropriated balance of <br />• the General Fund to account *01-33020 for transfer to <br />the Grants Fund as the City's matching share of such <br />grant. <br />• <br />Approved by Council <br />'ebruury 19, 1983 <br />erk oT C uncil ' <br />HLIE %! <br />
