• APPROPRIATION <br />Transportation Planning Grant <br />$67,000 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that the sum of $67,000 is hereby appropriated to <br />expenditure account 11-042-053050 in the Grants Fund for planning <br />activities, including administration, data base maintenance and a <br />study of transportation needs for the southern City/County area. <br />Such activities shall be conducted by the City under a contract <br />from the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission (TJPDC) <br />pursuant to a Section 112 planning and programming grant received <br />by TJPDC from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the <br />Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation (VDH&T). <br />This appropriation shall be conditioned upon the receipt by <br />the City for credit to the Grants Fund of $55,325 in FHWA funds, <br />and $5,838 in VDH&T funds. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the balance of the foregoing <br />grant, the sum of $5,837, is hereby appropriated from the <br />unappropriated balance of the General Fund for transfer to the <br />Grants Fund as the City's matching share of such grant. <br />• Approved by Council <br />September 5, 1989 <br />• <br />89-4-27 <br />
