• APPROPRIATION <br />Transportation Planning Grant <br />$64,971 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that the sum of $64,971 is hereby appropriated to <br />expenditure account 11-042-053050 in the Grants Fund for planning <br />activities, including administration, long range planning, southern <br />City neighborhood study, transit development plan, and the 1990 <br />census, outlined in the Unified Transportation Planning Work <br />Program. Such activities shall be conducted by the City under a <br />contract pursuant to a Section 112 planning and programming grant <br />received by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission from <br />the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Virginia <br />Department of Transportation (VDOT). <br />This appropriation is conditioned upon receipt by the City of <br />$51,976 from the Federal Highway Administration, and $6,498 from <br />the Virginia Department of Transportation, for a total of $58,474 <br />from the pass-through agency, Thomas Jefferson Planning District <br />Commission. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's ten percent (10$) local <br />match of $6,497 is hereby appropriated to account code 05-302- <br />131032 from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund for <br />transfer to the Grants Fund. <br />Approved by Council <br />November 2, 1992 <br />1 rk of City Council <br />
