• <br />• <br />APPROPRIATION <br />Transportation Planning Grant <br />$60,315 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of <br />$60,315 is hereby appropriated to expenditure account 11-042-053050 in the Grants Fund for <br />planning activities, including administration, transportation planning and data development, <br />southern City neighborhood study, and a transit development plan, to update the <br />Charlottesville -Albemarle Transportation Study (CATS) outlined in the Unified Transportation <br />Planning Work Program. Such activities shall be conducted by the City under a contract pursuant <br />to a Section 112 planning and programming grant received by the Thomas Jefferson Planning <br />District Commission from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Virginia <br />Department of Transportation (VDOT). <br />This appropriation is conditioned upon receipt by the City of $48,252 from the Federal <br />Highway Administration, and $6,031 from the Virginia Department of Transportation, for a total <br />of $54,283 from the pass-through agency, Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's ten percent (10%) local match of $6,032 is <br />hereby appropriated to account code 05-302-131032 from the unappropriated balance of the <br />General Fund for transfer to the Grants Fund. <br />Approved by Council <br />October 3, 1994 <br />CkpTk of City Council <br />
