• <br />• <br />• <br />APPROPRIATION <br />North Moore's Creek Greenbelt Trail <br />$35,000 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Charlottesville has been awarded $35,000 from the Virginia <br />Recreational Trails Fund Program (VRTFP) for fiscal year 1996 -97, to be expended on <br />construction and development costs for the North Moore's Creek Greenbelt Trail; and <br />WHEREAS, it is a requirement of this grant that projects funded with VRTFP initiatives <br />money be matched with local funds; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum <br />of $35,000, to be received as a grant from the state, is hereby appropriated in Capital Fund <br />account 26 -041- 121063, and will be matched by $35,000 already appropriated from the Capital <br />Fund, for construction and development of the North Moore's Creek Greenbelt Trail. This <br />appropriation is conditioned upon receipt of $35,000 from the Virginia Recreational Trails Fund <br />Program; provided, however, that said grant funds will not be expended until City Council is <br />advised of the operational costs of the North Moore's Creek Greenbelt Trail and approves of <br />such expenditure. <br />Approved by Council <br />December 16, 1996 <br />( `L <br />Clerk of City Council <br />
