APPROPRIATION <br />• The VJCCCA Juvenile Court Assessment Center <br />$155,786 <br />WHEREAS, the Juvenile Court Assessment Center provides case management assessment <br />services for first time juvenile court offenders and less serious delinquent offenders in order to <br />lower incidences of court involvement; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Juvenile Justice has approved the use of Virginia <br />Community Crime Control Act funds to support the operation of the Juvenile Court Assessment <br />Center, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Charlottesville share of the Juvenile Court Assessment is $77,893 <br />and the Albemarle County share is $77,893; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that $155,786 is <br />hereby appropriated to account code 13-162-062142 to support the operations of the Juvenile <br />Court Assessment Center, which includes $22,250 for the 16th District Court Services Unit <br />Purchase of Services Fund, during FY 97/98. This appropriation shall be conditioned upon the <br />receipt of $77,893 in Virginia Juvenile Community Crime Control Act funds from the <br />• Department of Juvenile Justice and of $77,893 from Albemarle County VJCCCA funds. <br />Approved by Council <br />April 6, 1998 <br />dk of City Council <br />C� <br />
