I• <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />CLOSING, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING <br />UNOPENED WARE STREET <br />LYING BETWEEN STONEHENGE AND ROCKLAND AVENUES <br />IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE <br />WHEREAS, proper notice that Bertha B. Rogers would make application <br />to the City Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, to have the <br />hereinafter described street closed, vacated and discontinued was duly <br />posted; and <br />WHEREAS, all the owners abutting said street have been duly notified; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, application was made to the City Council and pursuant to <br />the statutes in such cases made and provided, the Council appointed viewers <br />who have reported that no inconvenience would result from such closing, <br />vacating and discontinuance; and <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the said street located in the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, described as follows is hereby closed, vacated <br />and discontinued as a public thoroughfare of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, said street not being needed for public use and travel: <br />That unopened portion of Ware Street approximately 50 feet <br />wide lying between Stonehenge and Rockland Avenues and <br />bordering along Lots 1 and 18, Block A as shown on City Tax <br />P1ap 27. <br />There is hereby reserved to the City of Charlottesville, an easement <br />twenty feet in width through the entire length of the street hereby <br />closed for the maintenance and repair of an existing sanitary sewer line. <br />Adopted by the Council <br />December 20, 1976 <br />Copy Teste: <br />• <br />Clerk <br />
