Charges for keeping sections or spaces in order. <br />Every owner of a section or part of a section in any cemetery in the <br />city, plotted and mapped prior to January 1, 1939, shall pay annually, <br />in advance, to the dteeter-a€-€inanee city treasurer, on the first day <br />of April, a fee of ten dollars for keeping such sections in good condition. <br />SECTION 10-56. Required; application; issuance; display on vehicle. <br />• (a) Every owner of a motor driven vehicle, before he shall commence <br />to operate his vehicle, shall obtain a license to operate the same by <br />making application to the d}teeter-e€-€€ranee city treasurer for a license <br />to operate and by presenting a state motor vehicle registration card. <br />The application shall contain the name of the applicant, his residence <br />and if a corporation, its place of business, giving the make, a brief <br />description showing the style and model of the machine and weight, as <br />computed by the provisions of the state law now in force or in accordance <br />with any modifications that hereafter may be made by the state. After <br />application and payment of the required license tax fee has been made, <br />the city treasurer shall issue a certificate of <br />registration and license plate, tag or other indicia of license. <br />Provided that the treasurer shall not issue a license for any vehicle <br />unless any personal property taxes assessed thereon by the city for the <br />preceding year and any prior years have been paid. The treasurer may <br />require the applicant for any such license to furnish evidence of such <br />payment. <br />(b) Metal license plates issued to the licensee pursuant to this <br />article shall be displayed with the state license plate at the front or <br />rear of the vehicle. Decalcomania or other stickers issued pursuant to <br />this article shall be attached to the lower right-hand side of the <br />•windshield, or to such other location as the d#teeter-ef-€#nenee city <br />treasurer shall direct on vehicles not equipped with windshields. Such <br />license plates or tags shall always be in evidence upon the front or rear <br />of each machine and all plates, tags or other indicia of license shall <br />be maintained in such a condition as to be legible at all times. <br />
