Aisles; entrance, exit driveways and loading space. Aisles, entrance and exit driveways shall be built to the following minimum specifications: (c) The location and design of entrance and exit driveways for all parking areas, except those serving one -family attached and detached and two-family dwellings, shall be approved by the planning commission or the director of planning to insure a safe and convenient means of ingress and egress, and shall conform to the following standards: (1) No driveway shall exceed fifty feet in width at the property line, nor sixty feet at the curb line. • (2) No driveway entering a street at the curb line shall be located within fifteen feet of the right of way of an intersecting street, or less than five feet from the end of the curb radius. (3) No driveway shall be located within fear five feet, at the curb line, from the line of the adjacent property. (4) Where more than one driveway is provided along a frontage in single ownership, there shall be a separa- tion of at least twenty feet at the curb line, and a six inch raised protective curb parallel to the street extending not less than two-thirds the length of the island shall be placed inside the property line between the driveways. (5) The planning commission or director of planning may allow a joint driveway for adjacent properties facing a public right of way, if in their opinion such arrangement will improve safety and circulation.
