F <br />• AN ORDINANCE <br />TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTIONS 31-85, 31-93, <br />31-100 AND 31-106 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, <br />AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE LOCATION OF DRY CLEANING <br />ESTABLISHMENTS IN CERTAIN BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL ZONES. <br />E <br />• <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia: <br />1. That §§31-85, 31-93, 31-100 and 31-106 of the Code of the City of <br />Charlottesville, as amended, be amended and reordained as follows: <br />Section 31-85. Permitted uses - By right. <br />The following uses shall be permitted by right in the B-2 District: <br />(a) <br />(b) <br />(c) <br />(d) <br />(e) <br />(f) <br />(g) <br />(h) <br />(i) <br />Any uses permitted by right in the B-1 Business District. <br />Retail stores (neighborhood oriented). <br />Bakeries (sales on premises). <br />Service stations (without vehicular rental service). <br />Business, dancing, music, art and similar schools. <br />Television and household appliance repair stores. <br />Laundromats and self-service cleaning establishments. <br />Laundries. <br />Dry cleaning establishments <br />Virginia Uniform Statewide <br />4}3 - <br />Self -service car washes. <br />Recreational facilities. <br />of low hazard, as defined in the <br />Building Code. as-amended7-9eet4en <br />Theatres (not including drive-ins). <br />Restaurants (not including drive-ins). <br />Sign painting. <br />Hotels and motels without restaurants. <br />Bicycle sales and service. <br />Section 31-93. With special use permits. <br />The following uses may be permitted in the B-3 Business District with <br />a special use permit: <br />(a) Warehouses. <br />(b) Printing and publishing establishments. <br />(c) Manufacturing and processing establishments of a craft nature <br />(such as ice cream, candy, jewelry, millinery, clothing, pottery) <br />which will have a moderate adverse environmental impact on <br />surrounding development in the form of smoke, odor, dust, noise, <br />gas fumes and fire hazards. <br />(d) Residential high density up to one hundred twenty dwelling units <br />per acre in B-3 District adjacent to the B-4 District. <br />
