F • AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTIONS 31-85, 31-93, 31-100 AND 31-106 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE LOCATION OF DRY CLEANING ESTABLISHMENTS IN CERTAIN BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL ZONES. E • BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia: 1. That §§31-85, 31-93, 31-100 and 31-106 of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, as amended, be amended and reordained as follows: Section 31-85. Permitted uses - By right. The following uses shall be permitted by right in the B-2 District: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) (g) (h) (i) Any uses permitted by right in the B-1 Business District. Retail stores (neighborhood oriented). Bakeries (sales on premises). Service stations (without vehicular rental service). Business, dancing, music, art and similar schools. Television and household appliance repair stores. Laundromats and self-service cleaning establishments. Laundries. Dry cleaning establishments Virginia Uniform Statewide 4}3 - Self -service car washes. Recreational facilities. of low hazard, as defined in the Building Code. as-amended7-9eet4en Theatres (not including drive-ins). Restaurants (not including drive-ins). Sign painting. Hotels and motels without restaurants. Bicycle sales and service. Section 31-93. With special use permits. The following uses may be permitted in the B-3 Business District with a special use permit: (a) Warehouses. (b) Printing and publishing establishments. (c) Manufacturing and processing establishments of a craft nature (such as ice cream, candy, jewelry, millinery, clothing, pottery) which will have a moderate adverse environmental impact on surrounding development in the form of smoke, odor, dust, noise, gas fumes and fire hazards. (d) Residential high density up to one hundred twenty dwelling units per acre in B-3 District adjacent to the B-4 District.
