0 <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />CLOSING, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING <br />A PORTION OF UNOPENED BAKER STREET <br />IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE. <br />WHEREAS, proper notice that Haggin Perry Huff and Linda Ann Huff <br />would make application to the City Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, to have the hereinafter described street closed, vacated and <br />discontinued was duly posted; and <br />WHEREAS, all owners abutting said street have been duly notified; <br />rMe <br />WHEREAS, application was made to the City Council, and pursuant <br />to the statutes in such cases made and provided, the Council appointed <br />viewers who have reported that no inconvenience would result from such <br />closing, vacating and discontinuance; <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the street located in said City, described <br />as follows, is hereby closed, vacated, and discontinued as a public <br />thoroughfare and right-of-way of the City, said street not being needed for <br />public use and travel: <br />That portion of an unopened 50 foot street known as Baker <br />Street running in a southerly direction from Carlton Avenue <br />to its intersection with Randolph Avenue. <br />Copy Teste: <br />Clerk of the Council <br />0 <br />Adopted by the Council <br />July 2, 1979 <br />
