• AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING AND REORDAINING THE ORDINANCE <br />CLOSING, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING A <br />PORTION OF UNOPENED HENRY AVENUE <br />IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE. <br />WHEREAS, the ordinance closing, vacating, and discontinuing <br />a portion of unopened Henry Avenue adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Charlottesville, Virginia on January 2, 1979 contained <br />an incorrect description of that portion of said street to be <br />closed, vacated, and discontinued; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the description in said ordinance <br />is hereby amended as follows and that said street located in the <br />City of Charlottesville, Virginia as hereby described is closed, <br />vacated and discontinued as a public thoroughfare of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, said street not being needed for <br />public use and travel: <br />That portion of unopened Henry Avenue running in a <br />• westerly direction from the western edge of the <br />Southern Railway siding toward Harris Street for <br />approximately 105 feet, more or less, on the southern <br />edge of Henry Avenue continuing in a straight line in <br />a northerly direction across the width of Henry Avenue, <br />and then continuing along the northern edge of Henry <br />Avenue in an easterly direction for a distance of <br />approximately 118 feet, more or less, to the said <br />railway siding, and bordering along Parcel 133 on City <br />Real Property Tax Map 35 and Parcel 3 on City Real <br />Property Tax Map 34. <br />Copy Teste: <br />Clerk of the Council <br />• <br />Adopted by the Council <br />December 17, 1979 <br />
