0 0 9 IN THE :BATTER OF VACATING ) A CERTAIN STREET LOCATED ) PETITIJN IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, ) VIRGINIA ) TO: THE MAYOR AND THE MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA Petitioners Homer G. Richey 6 George Gilmer Richey, Coalburg Corp., Edward 0. McCue, Jr., John A. Dezio F, Watts M. Dezio and McGuire, Woods f, Battle, respectfully represent: (1) That, pursuant to the provisions of 915.1-364 of Code of Virginia, (1950), as amended, the said Petitioners apply for the vacating of that portion of the area of East Jefferson Street between 4th and 5th Streets, N.E. in Charlottesville, Virginia described as follows: that certain area containing 0.072 acre as shown on the attached plat of Wm. Morris Foster, Certified Land Surveyor, dated March 15, 1981, being bound on the north by the line running from point A to point B, on the east by line running from pont B to point C, on the south by the line running from point C to point D and on the west by the line running from point D to point A as shown on the said plat attached. (2) That no inconvenience will result to any person by reason of the said vacation of the said street area, and Petitioners pray that this Honorable Council appoint Viewers as provided by the aforesaid statute to view this certain street are proposed to be vacated and report in writing to this Council on or before the 20th day of April, 1981, whether, in the opinion of the said Viewers, any, and if any, what inconvenience would resul from the vacation of the said street area heretofore described. (3) That, on the 26th day of March, 1981, Notices of the presenting of this application were posted at the following locations: (a) The Court Rouse for the City of Charlottesville; (b) City Hall; (c) on the property to be vacated; as evidenced by the Affidavit attached hereto, and a copy of said
