of the principal amount of this bond and of the accrued <br />• interest and premium, if any, payable upon such redemption <br />shall have been duly made or provided for, interest hereon <br />shall cease from and after the date so specified for the <br />redemption hereof and the coupons representing such interest <br />shall be void. <br />It is certified, recited and declared that all <br />acts, conditions and things required to exist, happen or be <br />performed precedent to and in the issuance of this bond do <br />exist, have happened and have been performed in due time, <br />form and manner as required by law, and that the amount of <br />this bond, together with all other indebtedness of the City <br />does not exceed any limitation of indebtedness prescribed by <br />the Constitution or statutes of the Commonwealth of Virginia <br />• or the Charter of the City. <br />• <br />The full faith and credit of the City are irrevo- <br />cably pledged to 'the punctual payment of the principal of <br />and interest on this bond as the same becomes due. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City has caused this bond <br />to be executed by the manual or facsimile signatures of its <br />Mayor and City Treasurer; a facsimile of the corporate seal <br />of the City to be imprinted hereon, attested by the manual <br />or facsimile signature of the Clerk of Council of the City <br />(provided that at least one of such signatures hereto shall <br />be a manual signature); the coupons hereto attached to be <br />-15- <br />
