he-er-she-deems it is impracticable to install a separate meter <br />for air conditioning equipment, permit the use of one meter for <br />• all gas delivered to the customer, in which instance the director <br />of finance shall estimate the amount of gas for uses other than <br />air conditioning and shall bill for such gas at the rates <br />provided in section 12-3 or 12-6 of this Code as applicable. <br />Section 12-4.1. Same - Surcharge on county residential <br />customers. <br />Section 12-5. Same - ornamental gas lights. <br />Section 12-6. Interruptible service. <br />(a) Conditions. Interruptible gas service shall be supplied <br />at locations where facilities are available to supply the amount <br />of gas requested by the consumer, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />(1) Gas delivered hereunder shall be separately metered <br />• and shall not be used interchangeably with gas supplied under any <br />other schedule; <br />(2) The consumer shall have installed and available <br />for immediate use equipment which will use some other fuel and <br />which can be put in operation within two hours after being notified <br />by the city. <br />(b) Customer's agreement. A customer purchasing gas pursuant <br />to this section agrees to discontinue the service when requested <br />by the eitp-manager gas superintendent or his or her representative, <br />on two hours' notice, at any time whenever, in the sole judgment <br />of the a#tp-manager gas superintendent, such gas is not available <br />for delivery hereunder. If the customer continues to use or <br />consume gas under this section after being notified by-the-e#ty <br />manager-er-h#s-er-her-regresentet}ve to discontinue, the customer <br />shall be billed for all gas so consumed at a rate of ten dollars <br />per thousand cubic feet and the city shall, as soon as the violation <br />comes to its attention, terminate service to the customer until <br />the period of interruption is over. <br />E <br />
