• AN ORDINANCE <br />VACATING AND DISCONTINUING A PORTION <br />OF THE SUBDIVISION PLAT OF SEMINOLE SQUARE <br />WHEREAS, there has been recorded in the Clerk's Office <br />of the Circuit Court for the City of Charlottesville in Deed <br />Book 433, page 334, a plat prepared by William S. Roudabush, <br />Inc. dated March 22, 1982 entitled "Subdivision Plats <br />Seminole Square", and there was also recorded in said Clerk's <br />Office in Deed Book 433, page 321 a plat of William S. <br />Roudabush, Inc. dated September 1, 1982 entitled "Dedication <br />of Streets and Easements Seminole Square% both of which <br />plats purport to dedicate to public use certain streets, <br />storm sever drainage water and gas line easements shown <br />thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, Virginia Code section 15.1-478 (1950, as <br />amended) provides that the recordation of such plats operates <br />to transfer in fee simple to the City such portion of the <br />premises shown on such plats as were set apart for streets, <br />easements or other public use; and <br />WHEREAS, a revised subdivision plat made by William S. <br />Roudabush, Inc., dated December, 3, 1984, and last revised <br />December 10, 1984 has been recorded in said Clerk's Office in <br />Deed Book 458, pages 687-687A; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council by Ordinance adopted April 1, <br />1985 vacated the two aforesaid plats of March 22, 1982 and <br />September 1, 1982 to the extent that they were inconsistent <br />with the streets and easements shown on <br />the <br />plat dated <br />• <br />December 3, 1984, last revised December <br />10, <br />1984; and <br />
