0 <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTION 16-8 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA TO STRENGTHEN THE ABILITY OF <br />THE CITY TO REMOVE INOPERATIVE MOTOR VEHICLES FROM <br />PROHIBITED ZONING DISTRICTS <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that Section 16-8 of the Code of <br />the City of Charlottesville is hereby amended and reordained <br />as follows: <br />Sec. 16-8. Keeping of inoperative motor vehicles <br />prohibited in certain districts. <br />jal It shall be unlawful for any person. firm or <br />corporation to keep, except within a fully enclosed building or <br />structure or otherwise shielded or screened from view, on any <br />property zoned for the uses set forth in aFtieles II through <br />XVI; lneldsive; of ehap€er 31 residential rR-]. R-2 or R-31 or <br />business fB-1 B-2 B-3 or B-41 purposes any motor vehicle. <br />trailer or semitrailer, as such are defined in Virginia Code <br />Section 46.1-1. whose eendition is saeh that it is eeonomieally <br />• imprae€ieal to matte it which is inoperative.
