Creation of New Permit Parking Zones <br />Permit parking zones Council may create such new permit parking <br />Sec. 16-57. Adoption of Regulations <br />The city manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />promulgate such rules and regulations as may be deemed necessary <br />and reasonable for the efficient and safe administration and <br />control of parking within each such permit parking zone as from <br />time to time may be established. Such regulations may include, <br />but need not be limited to the following matters: <br />(a) The number, categories, terms and eligibility criteria <br />of and fees to be charged for permits to be issued for parking <br />within the zone. <br />(b) The specific streets or portions thereof within the zone <br />for which permits are to be required, and the hours during which <br />such requirement shall be in force. <br />(c) The format, display and method of issuance of permits to <br />be issued pursuant to such regulations. <br />(d) The notification to be given to residents of Any <br />proposed restricted parking block the sane before implementation <br />of the permit requirement and the standards for posting of signs <br />or notices to indicate to the public the areas and times for <br />which permits are required. <br />(e) The methods for determining additional areas in which a <br />need for establishment of a permit parking zone exists, and for <br />assuring that the interests of the residents of any such area are <br />given full and fair consideration before any such zone shall be <br />recommended to the city council. <br />Such rules and regulations <br />shall be submitted to the city <br />council resolution. <br />Approved by Council <br />September 19, 1988 <br />and any subsequent amendments <br />council for review and approval by <br />3 er< of Council <br />88-7-35 <br />
