• AN ORDINANCE <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY <br />DESIGNATED AS 506 SEVENTH STREET (CITY TM53-139) <br />TO JOHN A. CRUTCHFIELD <br />WHEREAS, the City of Charlottesville no longer has any use for <br />property which it owns, known as 506 Seventh Street in the City of <br />Charlottesville, and designated as Parcel 139 on City Real Estate <br />Tax Map 53, being the former site of the Girls' Attention Home; and <br />WHEREAS, John A. Crutchfield has agreed to purchase and City <br />has agreed to convey said property for the purchase price of <br />$120,000.00; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that the conveyance of property known as 506 Seventh <br />Street for the purchase price of $120,000.00 is hereby authorized, <br />and the contract of purchase, dated July 3, 1991 (a copy of which <br />is attached hereto) executed by the Assistant City Manager is <br />hereby ratified. Further, the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />execute a general warranty deed, in form approved by the City <br />Attorney. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to take whatever <br />actions are necessary to effect the conveyance of said property. <br />• BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the proceeds of the sale of said <br />property shall be deposited as revenue into account 26-162-121130 <br />in the Capital Projects Fund. <br />Approved by Council <br />August 19, 1991 <br />Perk of City Council <br />-7-29 <br />• <br />
