• Sec. 34-462. Compliance with article and other provisions <br />of chapter. <br />A building or premises in the B-4 District shall be used only <br />for the following purposes set forth in this article. All <br />buildings and uses permitted in the B-4 District, with the <br />exception of single family detached dwellings, single family <br />attached dwellings not exceeding two units and two family <br />dwellings, shall be subject to the off-street parking and site plan <br />review requirements of Articles XIX and XXI. respectively. <br />Sec. 34-463. Permitted uses - By right. <br />The following uses shall be permitted by right in the B-4 <br />District: <br />(1) Any use permitted by right in the B-3 Business District. <br />(2) Warehouses and indoor storage areas when either is used in <br />connection with retail or wholesale businesses operating on the <br />same premises. <br />(3) Printing and publishing establishments. <br />Sec. 34-464. Same - With special use permit. <br />The following uses may be permitted with a special use permit <br />• in the B-4 District: <br />(1) Residential high density up to one hundred twenty (120) <br />dwelling units per acre subject to regulations as set forth in <br />Article VII. <br />(2) Public utility facilities. <br />(3) Dry cleaning establishments of moderate or high hazard, as <br />defined by the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. <br />(4) Animal shelters, boarding or breeding facilities with <br />outside runs or pens. <br />(5) Animal hospitals without outside runs or pens. <br />(6) Warehouses not used in connection with retail or wholesale <br />businesses on the same premises. <br />(7) Manufacturing and processing establishments of a craft <br />nature. <br />Sec. 34-465. Prohibited uses. <br />The following uses are prohibited in the B-4 District: <br />(1) Amusement arcades. <br />Sec. 34-466. Height and Floor Area Regulations. <br />The building height in the B-4 Business bistrict shall be no <br />greater than one hundred one (101) feet above the average street <br />level, except as provided in article XXIII; Exceptions and <br />• Modifications, and with the following provisions: <br />(1) The minimum required height shall be twenty feet <br />9 <br />
