Sec. 34-221. Townhouse regulations. <br />• The following regulations are required specifically for <br />townhouses and, where appropriate, shall supersede the basic <br />standards set forth for the R-3 District in section 34-201: <br />(6) Access. Each townhouse shall front on a dedicated public <br />street or a thirty-four foot minimum width access easement. If <br />access is to be provided by means of a private access easement, the <br />following minimum standards of development shall be observed: <br />a. Payment Pavement width of twenty-four (24) feet minimum, <br />exclusive of parking. <br />b. Concrete curb and gutter on both sides of street or easement. <br />c. Sidewalk five (5) feet in width on at least one (1) side of <br />the easement and where townhouses front on the easement, <br />constructed of concrete, brick, stone, or some other material <br />of reasonable durability and safety. <br />d. The radius for all cul-de-sacs shall be at least forty (40) <br />feet and paved to minimum radius of thirty-five (35) feet. <br />e. Street trees along the access easement at fifty (50) foot <br />intervals or less. <br />• provided as outlined in Section 34 - <br />or more. <br />Sec. 34-440. Height regulations. <br />The building height in a B-3 Building District shall be no <br />greater than eighty ` (85) seventy (70) feet, except as provided <br />in article XXIII of this chapter. <br />Sec. 34-470. Purpose and Intent. <br />The purpose of the B-5 District is to provide a special district <br />for the West Main Street Corridor which must allow for and <br />encourage a harmonious mixture of commercial, high density <br />residential, office, research, product assembly. light <br />manufacturing and institutional uses with appropriate guidelines <br />Tor height and bulk regulation.
