LI <br />Section 34-854. Screening. <br />All required screening shall be sufficiently dense or opaque <br />to screen the development effectively from the adjacent properties. <br />The following uses shall be adequately screened from the public <br />right-of-way: <br />(1) Storage lots for automobile repair shops. <br />(2) Storage of inoperative automobiles, or automobile <br />accessory parts such as tires, motors, body parts, etc. <br />(3) Storage of construction materials, other than on active <br />construction sites. <br />(4) Junk yards. <br />(5Z Parking lots, loading areas, refuse areas, detention <br />ponds and mechanical equipment. <br />Section 34-855. Lighting. <br />Adequate lighting shall be provided for proposed developments <br />used at night. Lighting installations shall not have an adverse <br />• impact on traffic safety or on the character of the surrounding <br />neighborhood, nor shall lighting be permitted to glare or be <br />directed into adjacent residential uses or the sky. <br />Section 34-857.1. Tree cover requirements. <br />(a) All developments, public or private, requiring submission <br />and approval of a site plan shall include provisions for the <br />preservation and planting of trees on the site to the extent that, <br />at ten (10) years from planting, minimum tree canopies or covers <br />will be provided as follows: <br />Zoning Districts <br />R-3, B-1, B-2, B-3, <br />B-4, M-1, M-2 . . <br />R-2 . . . . . . . <br />R-1, R-lA . . . . <br />r 1 <br />U <br />Percentage of Site Cover <br />10 percent <br />15 percent <br />20 percent <br />Page 8 of 9 <br />
