Sec. 32-70. Deception of Passengers. <br />• A Taxicab driver shall not deceive or attempt to deceive any passenger who may ride in <br />the driver's Taxicab, or who may desire to ride in the Taxicab, as to his destination or the rate <br />of fare to be charged. A Taxicab driver shall not convey any passenger, or cause him to be <br />conveyed, to a place other than directed by the passenger. In no event shall any Taxicab driver <br />take a longer route than is necessary to the passenger's destination than necessary, unless so <br />requested by the passenger. <br />Sec. 32-71. Refusal of orderly passengers. <br />Taxicab drivers shall not refuse or neglect to transport any orderly person, upon request, <br />unless previously engaged or forbidden by the provisions of this Chapter to do so. <br />Sec. 32-72. Compliance with lawful requests of passengers. <br />All Taxicab drivers shall comply with all reasonable and lawful requests of passengers <br />as to the speed of travel and the route to be taken. <br />Sec. 32-73. Excessive noise prohibited. <br />Loud talk or calls to and from driver(s) of Taxicab(s) is prohibited. The sounding of <br />• horns or other mechanical devices for purposes other than lawful traffic signals is prohibited. <br />-11- <br />i <br />-11- <br />
