AN ORDINANCE <br />�• QUITCL'AIMING THE CITY'S INTEREST IN <br />A PORTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY ON HINTON AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, Kevin and Hannah Munro, hereinafter "Owners", are the owners of <br />property designated as Parcel 110 on City Real Estate Tax Map 58 (318 Avon Street) ; and <br />WHEREAS, the house located on the above -referenced parcel encroaches into the <br />Hinton Avenue right-of-way approximately 8 inches; and <br />WHEREAS, the Owners wish to acquire 1 1 square feet of City right-of-way on Hinton <br />Avenue, shown as Parcel X on the attached plat made by B. Aubrey Huffman & Associates, Ltd., <br />dated August 25, 1999, and attached hereto, in order to cure the encroachment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has valued Parcel X at Fifty Dollars ($50.00); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Department and the City Engineer have no objection to the <br />conveyance of Parcel X; provided, however, that the Owners understand that the conveyance of <br />Parcel X does not make the parcel conforming as to setbacks and minimum lot area; now, <br />therefore, <br />• BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed, in form approved by the City Attorney, <br />which will quitclaim all of the City's right, title and interest in Parcel X to Kevin and Hannah <br />Munro. The City Attorney is hereby directed to take whatever steps are necessary to effect the <br />closing of said conveyance. <br />Approved by Council <br />December 6, 1999 <br />G-� <br />C k of City Council <br />00 <br />
