• AN ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE ABANDONMENT OF AN EASEMENT <br />AND ACCEPTANCE OF A NEW EASEMENT <br />FOR RELOCATION OF A SANITARY SEWER LINE <br />ACROSS PROPERTY ON FARRISH STREET. <br />WHEREAS, Edward and Maryjane Ford, the owners of certain property located <br />on Farrish Street (City Tax Map Parcels 52-173.2 and 52-173.3), have requested <br />abandonment of an existing sanitary sewer line easement and relocation of the sanitary <br />sewer line to another location, as shown on the attached plat made by Kirk Hughes & <br />Associates, dated August 10, 1999, revised August 26, 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed the attached plat and related plans <br />and has no objection to the relocation of the sanitary sewer line; and <br />WHEREAS, the sanitary sewer line will be relocated at the expense of the <br />property owner, and the City shall be granted a 20' easement for the relocated sanitary <br />sewer line; now, therefore, <br />• BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Deed of Easement and Abandonment of <br />Easement, in form approved by the City Attorney, abandoning and vacating the existing <br />sanitary sewer easement and granting a twenty -foot (20') easement for the relocated <br />sanitary sewer line, as shown on the attached plat. <br />Approved by Council <br />October 4, 1999 <br />Cap <br />k of City Coun it <br />0 <br />
