• AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING AND RE-ENACTING CHAPTER 34 (ZONING) <br />OF THE CITY CODE, 1990, AS AMENDED, <br />RELATING TO VARIOUS ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that Chapter 34 of the <br />Code of the Cih, of Charlottesville, 1990, as amended, is hereby amended and re -ordained, as follows: <br />Article I. Administration <br />Sec. 34-82. Violations—general. <br />(a)... <br />(b) The following conduct is hereby declared to be unlawful and subject to the enforcement provisions of this <br />division: <br />(6) Initiating any land disturbing activity, or any activity for which a building permit or demolition <br />permit is required, without obtaining all necessary approvals and permits. <br />Sec. 34-216. Division of the city into districts. <br />For the purposes enumerated in section 34-3, the city is divided into zoning districts. The zoning districts <br />shall be known as follows: <br />(1).... <br />(8)R-lU(S) / R-1 S U (each referring to "university, small lot") Residential District. <br />(9).... <br />(14)Mclntire Residential Corridor District (MR) <br />(15).... <br />(33)Central City Corridor Mixed Use District (CC) <br />Article II. Flood hazard reduction --Specific standards. <br />(a)... <br />(c)Manafactared Homes and Recrealional Vehicles. <br />(1).... <br />(4)All recreational vehicles placed on sites must either_ be fully licensed and ready for highway use and <br />be on the site for fewer than 180 consecutive days or meet all the requirements for new construction, <br />including anchoring and elevation requirements. A recreational vehicle shall be considered ready for <br />highway use if it is on wheels or a jacking system, and is attached to the site only by quick disconnect <br />type utilities and security devices_ -and has no permanently attached structures. <br />Sec. 34-253. Restrictions on development within the floodplain flood : y4ringe. <br />The plat of eaeh subdivision leeatedwithin the fleedway ffinge shall contain a notation ejeafjy stating <br />the water swfaee elevation of the one hundfod year flood in relation to the National 6eedwtie VeFfioal <br />Datum (B).
