Prepared by Charlottesville City Attorney's Office <br />• City Tax Map 25A041000[ <br />This deed is exempt from state recordation taxes <br />imposed by Virginia Code Section 58.1-801, <br />pursuant to Virginia Code Section 58.1-811(A)(3) <br />THIS DEED OF ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENT made this day of <br />2007, by and between the CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, <br />VIRGINIA, a municipal corporation, Grantor, hereinafter "City'; and SOUTHERN <br />PROPERTY, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company, Grantee, whose address is 170 <br />South Pantops Drive, Charlottesville, Virginia 22911. The following Lot Owners are <br />additional Grantees: STEVEN D. SHERMAN; SARA E. SECHLER and WESLEY <br />R. HOAGLAND, HILLARY A. LOSACANO and JASON D. MORROW. <br />• WITNESSETH: <br />That for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00), cash in hand paid, <br />and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, <br />Grantor does hereby VACATE, ABANDON, QUITCLAIM and EXTINGUISH all <br />right, title and interest in the following described easements, to -wit: <br />(1) Perpetual natural gas line easement, fifteen feet (15') in width, <br />shown on a plat made by the Gas Division for the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, dated December 14, 2006, of record in <br />the Clerk's Office for the Circuit Court of the City of <br />Charlottesville in Deed Book 1123, page 691. The vacated <br />easement is shown adjacent to Lots designated as 25A-121 through <br />25A-137 on said plat (off Brookwood Road). This vacation and <br />abandonment shall not apply to the natural gas line easement <br />shown adjacent to Lots designated as 18 through 31 off <br />Brookwood Lane on said plat. <br />(2) Perpetual natural gas line easement, fifteen feet (15') in width, <br />shown on a plat made by Dominion Development Resources, dated <br />• March 20, 2007, attached hereto, said easement being put to record <br />
