AN ORDINANCE <br />TO AMEND AND RE -ORDAIN ARTICLE VI (MIXED USE <br />CORRIDOR DISTRICTS) OF CHAPTER 34 (ZONING) OF THE <br />�• CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1990, AS AMENDED <br />ARTICLE VI. MIXED-USE CORRIDOR DISTRICTS <br />DIVISION 1. GENERAL <br />DIVISION 2. REGULATIONS --DOWNTOWN CORRIDOR ("D") <br />See. 34-560. Density regulations. <br />Residential density shall not exceed eightyseven 7) fortv-three (43) DUA; however, up to five handfed <br />(200) two hundred forty (240) DUA may be allowed by special use permit. The minimum density <br />required for multifamily developments (new construction only) shall be twenty-one (21) DUA. <br />DIVISION 3. REGULATIONS --DOWNTOWN EXTENDED CORRIDOR ("DE") <br />See. 34-580. Density. <br />(a) Mixed use. For mixed use buildings and developments having twenty-five (25) percent to <br />seventy-five (75) percent of the gross floor area designed and occupied for residential use, <br />residential density shall not exceed o:�(87) forty-three (43) DUA; however, up to two <br />hundred (200) two hundred forty (240) DUA may be allowed by special use permit. <br />(b) Other residential development. Residential density shall not exceed forty-three (43) DUA. <br />(c) Multifamily development. The minimum density for a multifamily development shall be <br />twenty-one (21) DUA. <br />
