WHEREAS, it has become apparent -to this Council that there <br />are substantial' monetary,benefits-which"could accrue to the City . <br />of Charlottesville'and"the Charlottesville"Redevelopment and <br />Housing Authority from expediting' the financial settlement and', <br />closeout of the Authority,'s Vinegar.:Hill Urban Renewal'Project,' <br />No. VA R-12; now, therefore'be"it <br />RESOLVED by`.thea Council of` `the City'. of Charlottesville,_ that <br />the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority be requested, <br />,to begin immediately the.neces'sary step's.for financial settlement <br />and closeout of such project pursuant to applicable regulations of, <br />the United States Department,:of Housing and Urban Development; <br />and be it further <br />RESOLVED that the City Manager and City Attorney be authorized <br />and directed to begin negotiation of an agreement between the.City <br />and the Authority setting forth the relative responsibilities of <br />such two bodies with respect to such closeout and other pertinent <br />matters, and to.submit such agreement for Council's approval. <br />once they are substantially in accord with.the.
