A RESOLUTION <br />GRANTING A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR THE USE OF <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 916 PRESTON AVENUE <br />AS AN ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY PLANT. <br />WHEREAS, Albemarle Farmers, Incorporated- has applied fora <br />special permit for its lessee, Isotemp, Inc. , to use a portion of the <br />property owned by it located at 916 Preston Avenue in a B-3 Business <br />District, as an assembly plant, not to exceed 10,000 square feet in <br />gross floor area with no more than ten percent of such floor area <br />utilized for fabrication of parts; and <br />WHEREAS, such application, has been duly advertised as <br />provided by law, and has been the subject of a public hearing jointly <br />held by this Council and the City Planning Commission on April 10, <br />1979; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended <br />approval of such special permit, now, therefore, be it <br />• RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, <br />that: <br />(1) A portion of the property located in a B-3 Business District <br />at 916 Preston Avenue, designated as Parcel 57 on City Real <br />Property Tax Map 31, is hereby granted a special permit for <br />use as an assembly plant, not exceeding 10,000 square feet <br />in gross floor area, with no more than ten percent of such floor <br />area to be used for the fabrication of parts, as permitted <br />under §31-93 of the City Code. <br />(2) The Council finds that such use conforms to the require- <br />ments for special permits generally imposed by Article XX <br />(§31-218 et seq.).of Chapter31 of the City Code, and this <br />permit is subject to all conditions and restrictions imposed <br />generally by such article. <br />(3) Such special permit shall be limited to that portion of <br />the aforesaid property designated for such use on the site plan <br />submitted with the special permit application, and shall further <br />be conditioned upon development of the property in accordance <br />with such site plan,. as modified by the Planning Commission, <br />• and finally approved by -the Director of Planning. <br />
