® A RESOLUTION <br />GRANTING A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR THE <br />USE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 916 PRESTON AVENUE <br />FOR THE EXPANSION OF AN ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY PLANT <br />AND FOR WAREHOUSES. <br />. WHEREAS, Albemarle Farmers, Incorporated, has applied for <br />a special permit for its lessee, Isotemp, Inc., to use a portion <br />of the property owned by it located at 916 Preston Avenue.in a <br />B-3 Business District, to expand its existing assembly plant, not <br />to exceed 10,000 square feet in.gross floor area with no more <br />than ten percent of such floor area utilized for fabrication of <br />parts and for warehouses; and <br />WHEREAS, such application has been duly advertised as <br />provided by law, and has been the subject of a public hearing <br />jointly held by this Council and the City Planning Commission on <br />January 8, 1980; and. <br />WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended approval <br />40 of such special permit, now, therefore, be it <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that: <br />(1) A portion of the,property,located in a B-3 Business <br />District at -916 Preston Avenue, designated as Parcel 57 on City <br />Real Property Tax Map 31, is hereby granted a special permit <br />for the expansion of an existing assembly plant„ not to exceed <br />10,000 square feet in gross floor area, with"no more than ten <br />percent of such floor area to be used for.the..fabrication of parts, <br />and for warehouses, as'..permitted•under-,,31-93 of the City Code. <br />(2) The Council finds that'such'use conforms to the require- <br />ments for special permits genera-liy inposdd•by Article XX (y31-218 <br />et seq.) of Chapter 31 of the.City,Code;.;and this permit is subject <br />to all conditions and restrictions imposed generally by such <br />'article. <br />(3) Such special permit shall be limited to that portion of <br />the aforesaid property designated for such use on the site plan <br />submitted with the special permit'application, and shall further <br />be conditioned upon development of the property in accordance <br />e with such site plan, as conditioned by the Planning Commission and <br />finally approved by the Director of Planning. <br />
