0 <br />RESOLUTION <br />GRANTING A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR THE <br />USE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2101 ARLINGTON BOULEVARD <br />AS A HOSPITAL. <br />WHEREAS, the David C. Wilson Neuropsychiatric Hospital has <br />applied for a special permit to use property owned by it located <br />at 2101 Arlington Boulevard in a B-1 Business District as a <br />hospital; and <br />WHEREAS, such application has been duly advertised as pro- <br />vided by law, and has been the subject of a public hearing jointly <br />held by this Council and the City Planning Commission on March 10, <br />1981; and <br />WHEREAS, the David C. Wilson Neuropsychiatric Hospital was <br />originally constructed at this location as a conforming use, <br />which was made nonconforming by subsequent amendments to the City <br />zoning ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended approval <br />is of such special permit as being in conformity with the land use <br />element of the City's duly adopted Comprehensive Plan, now, there- <br />fore, be it <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that: <br />1. City Real Property Tax Map Parcel 6A-1.11 located in a <br />B-1 Business District, at 2101 Arlington Boulevard, is hereby <br />granted a special permit for use as a hospital as permitted under <br />§31-79 of the City Code. <br />2. The Council finds that such use conforms to the require- <br />ments for special permits generally imposed'.by Article XX (§31-218 <br />et seq.) of Chapter'31 of the City Code, and this permit is subject <br />to all conditions and restrictions imposed generally by such <br />article. <br />3. Such special permit is.conditioned upon use of the property <br />in accordance with the presently.approved site plan, and any change <br />in such site plan'shall require an'amendment to this special permit <br />• resolution. <br />Adopted by Council <br />Copy teste: march 16, 1981 <br />Clerk of Council <br />
