0 ot Copy Teste: Clerk of Council A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL PERMIT OF PROPERTY LOCATED 812 RIVES STREET FOR A GROUP HOME FOR THE ELDERLY THAN TEN PEOPLE Adopted by Council January 5, 1981 FOR THE USE AT HOUSING NOT MORE ATHEREAS, Jane L. Holt has applied for a special permit for use of her property located at 812 Rives Street in an R-2 Residential District, for a group home for the elderly housing_ not more than ten persons; and WHEREAS, such application has been.duly advertised as provided by law and has been the subject.of public hearings held by the City Planning Commission on December 9, 1980 and by City Council on January 5, 1981; and. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended approval of such special permit; now, therefore, 'be it RESOLVED by the Council of'the City bf Charlottesville, Virginia that: 1. The property located in;an R-2 Residential District at 812 Rives Street, designated as Parcel 85 on City Real Property Tax Map 61 is hereby granted a special permit for use as a group home for the elderly housing not more than ten persons, as permitted under §§31-14 and 31-21 of the City Code. 2. The Council finds that such use conforms to the requirements for special permits generally imposed by Article XX (§31-218 et. seq.) of Chapter 31 of the City Code, and this permit is subject to all conditions and restrictions imposed generally by such article. 3. Such special permit shall be conditioned upon development of the property in accordance with the site plan submitted with the special permit application, including conditions imposed by the Planning Commission, and as finally approved by the Director of Planning, including the construction of required drainage measures, sidewalks not waived by the Planning Commission, surface treated parking, access for the handicapped, .recreational areas and.. screening_ at the southeast end of the property adjacent to single family residential uses.
