THIS DEED OF EASEMENT, made this 28th day of May, 1982, by <br />• and between SPERRY CORPORATION (formerly SPERRY RAND CORPORATION), <br />a Delaware Corporation, CLAY M. PEYTON and RUTH N. PEYTON, husband <br />and wife, and CLAY M. PEYTON and JAMES H. MICHAEL, JR., Executors <br />of the Estate of Eunice S. Michie, Grantors, of the first part, <br />and THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, a municipal corporation, of <br />the second part, <br />W I T N E S S E T H <br />a <br />That for and in consideration of $10.00 and other good and <br />valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, <br />the Grantors hereby GRANT and CONVEY unto the City of Charlottes- <br />ville, a perpetual easement of right-of-way for the maintenance <br />and repair of the existing sanitary sewer line, with convenient <br />appurtenances thereto, within the bounds of a twenty (20') foot <br />easement, ten (10') feet of which lies on either side of the <br />center line of said sewer, through and across the lands of said <br />Eunice S. Michie and Clay M. Peyton lying and being in the City <br />of Charlottesville, Virginia, and more particularly described as <br />that certain tract or parcel of land fronting on U. S. Highway <br />Route 29 and the Hydraulic Road, containing 151-1/10 acres, more <br />or less, and being designated as Lot &2 on plat of Hugh F. Simms, <br />S.A.C., dated August 1940, of record in the Clerk's Office of the <br />Circuit Court of Albemarle County, Virginia, in Deed Book 252, <br />page 70. This is the same easement which was granted to the <br />Sperry Rand Corporation, a Delaware Corporation, by deed dated <br />November 11, 1955, from Eunice S. Michie, single, and Clay M. <br />Peyton and Ruth N. Peyton, his wife, of record in the Clerk's <br />Office of the Circuit Court of Albemarle County, Virginia in <br />Deed Book 320, page 101. <br />The City of Charlottesville shall have a perpetual right of <br />ingress and egress over the property hereinabove described for <br />access to and from said twenty (20') foot easement, for the <br />purposes aforesaid. <br />a <br />
