In return, we must receive written approval <br />for the expenditure of these funds from the appropriate representative of each <br />governing body. <br />This <br />is to inform you that the <br />Jefferson -Madison Regional <br />Library <br />officials <br />are being notified that the <br />following grant-in-aid has <br />been approved by <br />the State <br />Library Board for fiscal year 1983-1984. <br />State Aid to Public Libraries $358,925 <br />These funds must be spent for the purchase of library books, materials, equip- <br />ment, and professional staff salaries. I am also enclosing a copy of the require- <br />ments which must be met in order to receive the grant. <br />Before any expenditure can be made, we must have from you written approval of <br />your governing body. Since we have a deadline of 15 December 19833 for the expen- <br />diture of one-half of the grant, we need to hear from you as soon as possible. <br />I am enclosing two copies of the authorization form, one of which should be <br />signed by you and returned to me.
