• A RESOLUTION <br />DESIGNATING SUMS RECEIVED FROM <br />THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY <br />AS REVENUE TO THE <br />CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND <br />WHEREAS, from time to time the City receives sums of money <br />from the sale of land or buildings owned by it; and <br />WHEREAS, the proceeds from these sales of real property are non- <br />recurring revenue items, which, as a general rule, should be used to <br />fund non-recurring expenditures; now, therefore be it <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that the City Treasurer and Director of Finance are hereby <br />authorized and directed to credit all sums hereafter received from the <br />sale of real property as revenue to the Capital Projects Fund unless <br />otherwise directed by City Council. Such sums shall be held as part of <br />the unappropriated balance of such Fund, pending further appropriation <br />by Council to specific projects; and be it further <br />RESOLVED, that the sum of $57,365.50 received by the City from the <br />sale of land at Saxton and Water Streets to the Charlottesville <br />• Redevelopment and Housing Authority shall likewise be designated as <br />revenue to the Capital Projects Fund. <br />Approved by Council <br />November 3, 1986 <br />Ulo6rk of Council <br />86-6-58 <br />
